A bit more about myself

I’m Stas. My last name is Hluboki, which means "deep", hence the name of the website. I was born in Minsk, Belarus, where I’ve spent most of my life, but I’ve been living in Warsaw for the last 3 years.

Engineering is my real passion. I spend a lot of time learning new things by working on my pet projects. One of my first and favorite projects was a script for uploading TED Ed videos to LinguaLeo, a popular platform for learning English language. That was a start for me in web scraping domain.

Even though I’m renowned for my skills in web scraping, I’m interested in everything related to software engineering: full-stack web development, devops, data engineering and machine learning.

When I’m not coding, I enjoy reading, running, cycling and listening to music on my vintage audiophile setup. I also love travelling: so far I’ve visited 31 countries, but I think it's not the number of countries that matters, but the memories you make.
